It’s been a dangerously long time since we (That is, Cricket and I) have wandered onto this blog. We apologize for that.</p> <p>It’s not like we’ve been busy, as I will admit that Cricket is just as lazy as I am.</p> <p>It’s also a matter of pictures, and with this photoset I show you all how difficult it can be.</p> <p>Cricket loves to dress up, to be photographed, to be in the spotlight.</p> <p>I mean, that is, when he wants to.</p> <p>95% of the time he does not want to love all those things, and so this is the best I can get out of a so-called ‘photoshoot.’</p> <p>These aren’t terribly recent, but they aren’t prehistoric, so we’ll just say they’re…up to date.</p> <p>Cricket’s weight loss plan is going alright. Whether he has or hasn’t lost weight is unknown to me because our scale isn’t corgi-friendly and it’s hardly even people-friendly. Which is what he always does, but let’s pretend it’s the bath’s fault.</p> <p>We hope (Especially Cricket, of course) everyone had a very safe holiday, and that this new year brings great things!</p>http://cricketcorgems.tumblr.com/post/15153241894http://cricketcorgems.tumblr.com/post/15153241894Sun, 01 Jan 2012 20:05:38 -0500<img src="http://25.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_lwok8lCgU21qkji5ho1_500.jpg"/><br/><br/><p>Today involved a vet trip for Cricket.</p> <p>He’s been limping the past few days, so we took him in to see what’s up.</p> <p>He’s gained a pound (Thank you, 9 month old niece, for chucking all your food to the floor where Cricket can get to it) but is still lighter than he was when we brought him in over summer.</p> <p>It’s frustrating, but we’re (Or at least I am) trying.</p> <p>Cricket is as chipper as ever, even at the vet’s today.</p> <p>I was nervous mainly because I figured that for sure his limp was due to his fat and that something terribly bad was happening and he’d have to be put to sleep.
